Memorial 5K Run/Walk

Our Race

Join us on Sunday, May 26, 2024, for the 3rd Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk.   Our not-for-profit, volunteer organized race benefits area veterans and the families of our fallen heroes. 

The Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores and active-duty service members will conduct a brief ceremony of remembrance prior to the running of our unique 5K race.  The racecourse, through the Lake Barrington Shores community, has been certified by U.S. Track and Field and will be professionally chip timed.  

All race participants will receive a race tech shirt and a beautiful finisher medal as part of their registration.  Proceeds from your race registration benefit the Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores and the Gary Sinise Foundation.
