Chris & Kim - LIVE @ Uptown Circle

Chris & Kim Acoustic Duo's Gritty and Pretty Tour features an eclectic song list including blues, rock and country sprinkled with a few familiar pop songs. Both Chris and Kim are professional musicians from right here in Bloomington-Normal.

Christopher Lackey studied music and creative technologies at ISU, and is now an instructor at Heartland Community College and Bradley University, where he teaches digital media, game design, and business technology. He played keyboard in the band Old Smoke for a number of years, and is now the keyboardist for the party band Style in Stereo with Palma Entertainment.

Kimberly Wright studied theatre performance at the University of Toledo, and is currently the assistant director for donor relations for Special Olympics Illinois. She performs locally in musical theatre and is the lead female vocalist in the party band Style In Stereo and a DJ with Palma Entertainment.

The Town of Normal Cultural Arts Department produces a live music series of evening concerts at Uptown Circle from late spring into early fall. All performances are free and open to the public.
