Chicago Jazz Festival

410 S. Michigan Avenue #500

Programmed by the Jazz Institute of Chicago since it began in 1979, and produced by the City of Chicago, the Chicago Jazz Festival is known for its artistic creativity and has long been a favorite Labor Day Weekend tradition.  The festival is presented in a mix of venues in August and September that includes four Neighborhood Nights concerts,  a solo piano series at Pianoforte, and concerts at the Chicago Cultural Center and Millennium Park.  The festival’s mission is to showcase Chicago’s vast jazz talent alongside national and international artists to inspire, educate and build a jazz audience of all ages.
