The museum gift shop carries a wide range of items from quill pens, coloring books, games and other educational toys for children to jewelry, band boxes, pottery, home decor items, ironware, and collectibles for adults.
Books are also a popular choice of our visitors. The following publications represent specific projects of the Early American Museum, and may be ordered from the Harvesters' General Store by sending a check to the Early American Museum, Drawer 1040, Mahomet, Illinois, 61853. The store does not currently accept credit cards. The General Store is open during the museum's public hours or by appointment.

Mission:
The mission of the Early American Museum is to collect, preserve and interpret the history of East Central Illinois, specifically Champaign County, for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations.
