Motor Row Brewing Company
2337 South Michigan Ave

Motor Row Brewing takes it's name from the historic Motor/Record Row area located in a landmark building at 2337 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago's near south side. Throughout it's history, the Motor Row neighborhood has been home to many Chicagoan's with big shoulders, including Marshall Field and Al Capone, who called 22nd and Michigan his home turf.

At the turn of the last century, Motor Row became famous as an automobile mecca, featuring sales rooms for more than 116 different makes of automobiles on historic Michigan Ave.

Later, as Record Row in the 1950's and 60's, South Michigan Ave. was home to Chicago's world famous Chess Records and current home of Willie Dixon's "Blues Heaven" Foundation and museum. Even The Rolling Stones made a pilgrimage to record just up the street. Take a visit to our neighborhood to try one of our wonderful craft beers and enjoy a part of Chicago history.

Our story begins in the midst of this rich and proud tradition. Cheers!
