Located in Mineral Springs Park, the Pekin Memoria Ice Arena has over 34,800 square feet under one roof, also providing space for many recreational programs, the Gym & Dance Studios, and the home for the Recreation Department staff and offices, open Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The ice skating season runs from the first Saturday in October through the first full weekend in March. Teams and groups calling Pekin Memorial Ice Arena home include the Pekin Dragon Hockey Club, Pekin Amateur Hockey Association, Morton / Washington Ice Hawks, Heart of Illinois Skating Club and the Tri-County Independents.
The Recreation Department offers quality skate lessons and hockey for the little ones. Stop in and watch a good ol' hockey game, and visit concessions to see our full menu.
