The whole tour was grand, and the older like grand piano and upright piano were well in tact the tour guids were very kind and the whole experience felt like if I were royalty. It should be a must on everyone's to-do list... Five stars on my part 3-4-18

Was visiting relatives in Winnebago and visited this museum one afternoon when we were trying to fill time. Glad we did. This is a hidden gem. The house is wonderful but the industrial/farming museum section was the most fascinating for me. They also have a one room school house and a 1830s log cabin. All very well documented and the tour guide was very good. Definitely recommend this site if you are nearby.

A great little home town museum. Lots of local history and a beautiful mansion to tour.

They explained everything to where kids would understand. They also let the kids freerome alittle.
