I was able to visit TON March 2018 and it was beyond wonderful. We worked with Steve and his friendly crew to build trails. We learned so much about TON, Southern Illinois, natives of the area, local hiking trails, and became much closer as a group!

I went to Touch of Nature Dec. 9, 2016 with a few friends from class. It was a quick drive there. There was a lot of scenery, even though most of the leaves on the trees have either fallen off or were about to fall. It was a little cold but we walked around and hung out. There was a hunt going on that day so we didn't venture off the road. One of our friends brought his dog and the dog clearly had a blast. It was a cool experience, especially because we all arrived there a little before sunset. There were some terrific views.

Loved this place! I went for the Maple Syrup Festival and it was so much fun! The staff was super friendly and most everything was free, educational, and fun! Such a beautiful place to experience the event and I would recommend to go check it out if they host anything else!

My husband and I had our wedding here a few weekends ago and couldn't have had a better day. :) We had our ceremony at the outdoor amphitheater and reception at Freeberg Hall. The staff were all wonderful! We both highly recommend Touch of Nature for anyone wanting to make their wedding ( or other event) special.
