About Us:

The West Chicago Park District was established in 1972 and since has been committed to creating an enhanced quality of life through effective programs, progressive facilities and preservation of parks and natural resources.  The District maintains over 400 acres including Reed Keppler Park known as “the heart of the community” that houses the state of the art ARC Center, The Treehouse, Turtle Splash Water Park, Keppler Academy Preschool, two dog parks, skate park, picnic shelters, multiple sports fields, playgrounds, bike trails, path system and a nature sanctuary. Highly committed to creating a healthier community as a core member of the Healthy West Chicago initiative.  The ever evolving District will be expanding its offerings with an outdoor performance venue and a sports training facility in 2017.
