Discover the animals that called Illinois home during the pioneer days. This unique 2000 acre zoological park is home to wolves, bison, black bear, elk, cougar, otter and so much more. You will enjoy the Park's spectacular natural settings, butterfly garden, wildflowers, lakes and restored prairie.

Imagine life in the early 1800's at the Pioneer Farmstead complete with farm animals, a one room schoolhouse and authentic pioneer log cabin. Explore the nature of Illinois while riding the train. When your day is over, you can even spend the night on the Prairie in one of our renovated Cabooses, Cabin on the Hill, Cottages by the Lake and Prairie Stables.

General admission rates for the 2009 Season: $6.50 for Adults, $4.50 for Children 4-12, FREE for ages 3 & under.

Park Members always get free admission during regular hours of operation and special discounts on programs, evening special events and throughout the park. Family Memberships start at just $50...That's less than dinner and a movie!
